Warm Up Video

It’s not a good idea to jump into a work-out, competition or performance without warming up first. Our muscles are like spaghetti noodles. They are brittle and unbending but once you warm them up, they become flexible.

Warming up helps prevent injuries. Imagine how easily an uncooked noodle can break. The same is true for your body. Warm-ups help keep you from getting sidelined and no one wants to sit it out on the bench.

Warming up keep you at the top of your game. When your muscles are warm and flexible, you are going to perform better. Even when you are going to do resistance band exercises, you need to warm up.

Some make the mistake of thinking that resistance bands exercises are a warm up, but you need to do some dynamic warm ups firs.

This video features our instructor who is also a Ballerina. She knows the importance of warming up and will show you some step-by-step instructions to an optimal warm up so you can get your muscles ready to really work it.
